Union Technical launches ground breaking boiler for homes in Scotland
One of Scotland’s leading boiler and insulation installers - Union Technical Ltd - has been named as a premier brand ambassador to introduce the next generation of smart condensing boilers to homes throughout the country.
Awarded by Flow Energy, developers of ground-breaking heating technology, the Glasgow based heating and insulation company will be the sole supplier and installer of the new Flow Eco RF boiler throughout the whole of Scotland.
Described as a 5 in 1 smart boiler, the flexible, easy to install Flow Eco RF can be fitted to most UK central heating systems with simple software changes and unique heat exchange technology meaning the boiler can achieve up to 10% greater efficiency than other A rated boilers. With integrated smart phone technology, homeowners control their heating from all smartphone’s and should there be any problem with the boiler, this can be picked up – and potentially fixed – remotely.
Speaking about being a premier ambassador for Flow Eco RF, Owen Coyle, Managing Director at Union Technical said: “This new boiler is a game changer to the heating market, and as such, we are delighted to be awarded as the only supplier in Scotland of such a ground-breaking product.
“As a young business, our team has over 30 years’ experience in the energy sector and we believe it’s our approach to customer service that has led us to be chosen as a premium brand ambassador on behalf of Flow Energy. Customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to go above and beyond to ensure each customer has a great experience dealing with us.”
Uniquely, the Flow Eco RF comprises only 12 parts, meaning there are less things to go wrong and fewer spares to worry about. With each component designed to the highest quality, Flow Energy has reported that in 20 years there has never been a single mechanical failure of the primary heat exchanger.
Owen said: “Priced competitively with other boilers available on the market, we are confident that the Flow boiler – with its increased efficiency and advanced technical capabilities – will be the boiler of choice for homeowners. And this is because, not only will it save them a significant amount of money on their energy bills, it is also incredibly reliable, low maintenance and easy to control.
“If there was to be a fault with the boiler, this can be picked up remotely, which no other boiler out there can do. This means that faults are picked up instantly, rather than unknown faults going on for long periods of time causing further problems down the line.”
And the product launch comes on the back of the company recently being awarded Insulation and Fabric Installer of the Year for Scotland in the Energy Efficiency and Healthy Home Awards, in recognition of the work it has done with thousands of homes in Scotland helping people to reduce their energy bills and keep them warm.
Established in 2011, the company has a number of installation teams covering the whole of Scotland, England and Wales. The company offers a range of boilers and insulation measures to homeowners, with grant and finance options available.
